The Show Must Go On…
A Home for Two of Columbia's Leading Arts Organizations
- Columbia Art League (CAL)
- Missouri Symphony Society (MOSS)
The restored auditorium continues to serve as the home for the Missouri Symphony Orchestra. A gallery and sales area have been created for the Columbia Art League in the street-level retail space south of the theater entrance.
An Arts Education Center
In addition to the Columbia Art League and the Missouri Symphony Society's artistic programming, these organizations offer educational opportunities to mid-Missouri youth and adults. CAL's visual arts curricula include instruction in painting, sculpting, and other fine arts classes. The Missouri Symphony will continue its theater training programs for mid-Missouri youth, as well as emerging young adult artists through the:
- Missouri Youth Orchestra Chamber Players
- Junior Strings
- Children's Chorus
- Plowman Chamber Music Competition
- Missouri Technical Theater Institute
